By accepting the Muddy Paws Limited Terms & Conditions, I confirm that all declarations below are true, and I accept full responsibility should any statement be inaccurate.
1. Owner Declaration
I confirm that my dog:
- Is legally mine.
- Has not been exposed to distemper, rabies, or parvovirus in the past 30 days.
- Has up-to-date vaccinations for the following:
- Canine Parvovirus
- Canine Distemper Virus
- Canine Adenovirus
- Leptospirosis
- Canine Cough (Kennel Cough)
- Has been treated for parasites common in farm environments, including fleas, mites, ticks, and worms.
- Is licensed and registered with the appropriate governing body at all times while boarding.
2. Risks and Environment
I understand that Muddy Paws Limited:
- Operates a communal, interactive play environment without traditional kennels.
- Offers social and developmental benefits for dogs, but there are inherent risks.
- Is not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or death caused by escape, sickness, or any other reason while my dog is in care.
3. Right to Refuse or Terminate Stay
Muddy Paws Limited can refuse or end my dog’s stay at any time, including:
- Unforeseen events or weather.
- If my dog is deemed unsuitable for this environment or for future stays.
- For aggressive or unsafe behaviour, illness, or other safety concerns.
I also understand:
- Non-payment or repeated breaches of these terms may result in a ban from future bookings.
- Muddy Paws Limited may seek financial repayment for any outstanding amounts owed.
4. Transfer of Responsibility
For the purposes of operational control and animal management:
Responsibility for my dog transfers to Muddy Paws Limited once:
- I place my dog in the designated secure handover area, and
- I leave the property.
Responsibility transfers back to me once:
- My dog is returned to the collection area, and
- I take physical control of my dog.
This does not affect legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, Animal Welfare Act 1999, or other laws.
5. Owner Responsibility
I am responsible for:
- Any medical care, expenses, or damages if my dog is injured or causes injury.
- Any damage caused by my dog to Muddy Paws Limited’s property, equipment, or premises. I agree to pay for repair or replacement.
If my dog becomes ill or injured, I authorise Muddy Paws Limited to act in the dog’s best interests and I will cover any related costs.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Muddy Paws Limited is not responsible for any damages beyond the replacement value of my dog.
- I waive any claims against Muddy Paws Limited, its employees, directors, or representatives, except in cases of proven negligence.
